There might be some memories of moments you were discouraged or hurt. Our memories store not only the facts, but also emotions.
When you bring up those thoughts, how do you feel? Can't you still feel fearful or anxious even if those things happened to you years ago.
We are holding our feelings as well, and these feelings have accumulated and have become a part of our subconsciousness. These feelings come up subconsciously whenever we face similar situations and create our low self-esteem, our lack of self-love.
To get over this, we must learn how to eliminate the negative emotions from the past.
